Busby Soccer Academy Director of Soccer Derek Kinsella Derek Kinsella is the Director, head coach and program developer of “Busby Soccer Academy”. As a player himself in his birth home of Ireland he has had great success in playing at the highest levels, he has also had great success in coaching and developing skills for boys and girls clubs in Ireland and now in the U.S.A. Derek has received coaching badges (licenses) issued by the Irish Football Association (FAI) And also USSF National E ,D and C licenses in the United States. Dereks passion for the game and especially youth development has inspired him into Creating“Busby Soccer Academy”And designing his own form and technique of Soccer training known as “S.M.A.R.T Training” which he Implements in all his programs. “S.M.A.R.T Training” is designed to be flexible and adjust to the specific needs of the players while keeping true to its fundamentals of each and every program His Philosophy has always consisted of developing programs for boys and girls geared specifically to each player and team. Derek uses his Busby Soccer Academy S.M.A.R.T Evaluation to allow him to develop unique programs concentrating in the strengths and weaknesses of each player and within each program. Derek is a hands on coach conducting all evaluation and training sessions, He is also the head coach of all “Busby Soccer Academy”club & Premier teams. Busby Soccer Academy is Dereks vision to help create future stars, successful players and well-rounded humans. He is a motivated, committed and compassionate trainer and Coach who inspires players, coaches and parents to reach their goals and most importantly enjoy the ride it takes to get there.
